I do agree, but..how many of zillions of rounds were fired by? the army, marines, etc in WWII and Korea and VietNam and no eye or ear protection was worn? How many soldiers are blind and deaf from shooting accidents? Modern ear protection is fine for hunting now but 30 years ago who wanted to be deaf in the woods while hunting cougars or grizzlys? Saftey precautions are fine but I'm curious. What's the chance of being blinded? btw, I use them. But do soldiers in combat?

If I'm hunting and wearing ear plugs how am I going to hear dear, squirrel, rabbit,? etc.?

have to agree with both also gloves are a good idea so that powder doesn't get into your skin and cause issues later on i find the sidewinder safty glasses to be the best mine have been through hell and still only have tiny? scratches on them as for earplugs just buy a box of disposable ones
